Download Sur.ly to your desktop (it comes in .tar archive).
Go to System → Application. Use the Choose File dialog to add Sur.ly archive and then click Install to activate it on your site.
Go to Community → Surly to access the plugin settings.
Configure the plugin's basic settings.
Customize Sur.ly toolbar for maximum effect.
